Minimally invasive mitral valve surgery: “The Leipzig experience”

In the article that appeared on pages 744-750 of the November 2013 issue of the Annals of Cardiothoracic Surgery (2), the 30-day mortality after minimally invasive mitral valve repair is erroneously reported as 0.8% (23/2,829 patients) in the section “Postoperative outcomes and follow-up” and in Table 2. It should read as 2.0% (57/2,829 patients). Additionally, the standard deviation reported for length of surgery in Table 1 should read as 53.6 minutes instead of 133.6 minutes.
